這個問題特別的地方在於它其實有兩個意思：becomes shorter可以是「變得更短」的意思，也可以是「變成“shorter”」的意思。沒有哪個單字加上兩個字母，反而會變短的吧？但如果是“short”這個單字，加上兩個字母，的確就會變成“shorter”這個字囉！超冷的吧！

Why the OMG?
直接翻譯就是「為什麼OMG？」，而在這個對話中，言下之意就是「為什麼妳要說OMG？」。同樣的句型可以用在很多地方，例如看到朋友一臉愁容，可以問Why the sad face?「為什麼一臉傷心？」
